Your Enchanting Home & Garden Tour in Boothbay, Maine

Imagine a town that offers you gorgeous coastal beauty … quaint downtown charm … a vibrant cultural scene … and a wonderful place to enjoy the outdoors. That amazing place is Boothbay, Maine. And its beloved annual Home & Garden Tour is one of the million-and-one unforgettable experiences you can enjoy in enchanting Maine this summer.

Natural Beauty, Culture & Community

Less than an hour’s drive from Augusta, Maine, Boothbay—with its wonderful Opera House performances, Windjammer Days Festival, art galleries, and whale-watching tours—has been a certified national treasure for decades. But the Home & Garden Tour is truly the icing on the cake.

This year’s walking tour, sponsored by the Boothbay Region Garden Club, will be held on July 18, from 9 am to 4 pm. In addition to the “community of walkers” you’ll be part of, you’ll enjoy a great way to gain an insider’s view of the natural beauty that is the calling card of the entire Boothbay Harbor Region. This year’s edition of the walking tour will take place in the Ocean Point area of East Boothbay, and will include six charming cottages—their interiors and their gardens—plus the historic Wilson Chapel. For your additional enjoyment, there also will be arts and crafts, music, and the Ocean Point Inn restaurant will be open for lunch.

Morning & Afternoon Tours

To maximize everyone’s enjoyment of the Home & Garden Tour experience, there will be two separate tours offered: a morning tour from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and an afternoon tour from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Everyone is asked to please attend the specific tour (morning or afternoon) for which you have tickets.
