I grew up in East Boothbay, Maine, in a boat-building family, where I worked from the age of 10 until my mid-twenties.
After that, I spent four years in Florida and graduated from the Saint Augustine Technical Center with a degree in
HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration). This education paved the way for an almost
30-year career as a Facilities Director for several different companies.
During this time, my wife Jami and I ventured into real estate, buying, refurbishing, and selling many homes. Now, we
reside in Bingham, Maine, surrounded by our pack of dogs, enjoying all the wonderful things this region of Maine has to offer.
