Giving Back, the Coldwell Banker Rizzo Mattson Way

Here at Coldwell Banker Rizzo Mattson, Realtors ® we’re HUGE fans of giving back to the local community. Giving back is such an amazing, win-win experience: Not only does it help our local community flourish, it also nourishes the spirit of everyone involved. As recently reported by Greater Good Magazine, “Giving is contagious …. When one person behaves generously, it inspires observers to behave generously later.”

That’s a huge reason why “The Desire for Giving Back” is an all-important trait we look for when hiring real estate agents. And our agents have delivered!  Here are specific ways that 8 of our agents are involved in giving back to their local community:

Geri Doyle
Resident of Gardiner, Maine

Geri serves as a Trustee of the Gardiner Water District, Chairman of the Gardiner Historic Preservation Commission, and Co-Chair of the Growing Gardiner Family Festival, to be held in Gardiner on June 18.  She also is a member of the choir at Christ Episcopal Church in Gardiner.

Lisa Kalloch
Resident of Whitefield

Lisa volunteers and donates to the Chelsea Food Bank, and also is a fundraising volunteer for Hall-Dale class trips, projects, and graduation. She also is a member of the Hall-Dale Boosters and the Chelsea Grange.

Kevin Judkins
Resident of Augusta

Kevin serves on the Augusta City Council and sits on the Capitol Planning Commission.

Anna Boucher
Resident of Pittston

Anna volunteers annually for St. Michael's Travis Mills Walk-a-Thon and Annual Dinner Auction, their largest fundraiser of the year. She also volunteers for whichever outdoor sport her son Kenny is involved in (be it soccer or baseball), as there is always work needed to be done to keep the fields in good shape.

Mike Lund
Resident of Farmingdale

Mike has been active in community work most of his life, from Jaycees to United Way to the Chamber of Commerce to civic boards and committees. He was a founding member of the Augusta Board of Zoning Appeals, which he later chaired for two years.  He is a past president of his church congregation, and currently serves as a trustee at South Parish Congregational Church.  He has sung in numerous church choirs and community choruses.

Jean Kirkpatrick
Resident of East Winthrop

A homeowner on Cobbossee Lake, Jean is a member of the Cobbossee Lake Association and serves on their Development Committee.

Jennifer Day
Resident of Saco

Jennifer previously served on the Augusta School Board and as an At-Large Augusta City Councilor. She currently serves on the Planning Board for the City of Saco, the Board of Directors for Elderly Housing, Development and Operations Corporation (overseeing Chateau Cushnoc and John Marvin Towers in Augusta and Spring Rock Park in Leeds), and the Oak Grove School Foundation.

Brian Rizzo
Resident of West Gardiner

The Owner and a Designated Broker at Coldwell Banker Rizzo Mattson, Realtors ®, Brian is the current President of the Kennebec Valley Board of Realtors, and serves on the Board of Directors for both the Maine Association of Realtors and Maine Listings.  Brian has a long history of service and strongly believes in the missions of both the National and the Maine Association of Realtors.
